Naming the Alternative Worship Service
Let's start thinking and imagining what our alternative worship service name might be. It is an important element to address sooner than later. The name will set the tone and feel of the service. It will be used in communication and advertising. After we identify the service's name we
can get our graphic talents to address a logo and art for future publication and church bulletins.
Can we "talk" about possible names via e-mail in the next few days? There is a meeting scheduled for this Sunday at 11:30a.m. to talk about progress made on the service's development. It would be great to have some ideas to share.
One thought is to use the word "Connections." We used it for the Lenten Services. The word has a good sound and meaning for alternative worship. Would an adjective describing "connections" be good? What other names might we consider?
