I like the word 'connection' for the alternate worship service name because it can mean we are connecting to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, each other, the community and the world through this service. Maybe call it 'Praise Connection' or 'Disciples Connection', or 'DCC Connection'. I can't be at the meeting Sunday but whatever the group likes I am sure will be fine. Gail Continue

Let's start thinking and imagining what our alternative worship service name might be. It is an important element to address sooner than later. The name will set the tone and feel of the service. It will be used in communication and advertising. After we identify the service's name we can get our graphic talents to address a logo and art for future publication and church bulletins. A quick review of Wednesday's Alternative Worship Communication/Promotion Task Force follows: * We want to name the service. A suggestion has been made to use "Connections." Many of us like the name but feel the logo is not reflective of an Alternative Worship Service as it was developed for Lent. We need to decide if we want to consider other names and if we do, how to solicit input for the names.
