Join us this Sunday, May 31st for casual, contemporary worship followed by and all church picnic. We will be celebrating the years Nancy Kidd and Karen Walsh have spent on the church staff working with our kids.

Naming the Alternative Worship Service

Communications/Promotion Task Force
A quick review of Wednesday's Alternative Worship Communication/Promotion
Task Force follows:
* We want to name the service. A suggestion has been made to use
"Connections." Many of us like the name but feel the logo is not reflective
of an Alternative Worship Service as it was developed for Lent. We need to
decide if we want to consider other names and if we do, how to solicit input
for the names. When the name is finalized a logo will be needed for imaging
and promotion uses.

Gail and Tom Haverdill said… - I also like using "Connections" in the name of the new alternative worship service. You could add another word like Disciples Connection or Christian Connection but I kind of favor the simplicity anad power of the single word- connection to each other, connection to the world, connection to God. I loved the logo that Sue Curtis created- maybe she would re-work it some when the new name is decided on.
